Hapa offers systems to print on a wide range of lidding materials, from aluminum, plastic, paper, medical paper, laminates to Tyvek.

UV Flexo technology provides the highest quality print in up to five colors. The printers are available in several widths, up to 600mm. Inline or roll-to-roll, a UV Flexo can be configured to meet any continuous or intermittent production line.

The UV Digiprint is designed for the inline or roll-to-roll digital printing of aluminum or paper-backed aluminum to a maximum width of 300 mm at 600dpi. This computer-to-print technology is particularly suitable for frequent changeovers of products. Running costs per pack remain constant no matter the batch size; and the system provides quality print to a pharmaceutical standard.

For those interested in a UV DOD, fully-digital “Just-in-Time” piezo technology system, we offer the Hapa 800 WebJet. The WebJet prints inline all blank or pre-printed roll-fed substrates up to a maximum width of 470mm with resolutions up to 360dpi. Graphics and text are printed in “flexographic” print quality in a single pass; and the system is fully capable of realizing Track & Trace, serialization and anti-counterfeiting measures.

The best seller UV Flexo / UV DOD InkJet Hybrid combines two technologies into one system. The UV Flexo technology is highly cost-effective, prints in product-branding quality and uses UV ink in all PMS color shades. The UV DOD InkJet is suitable to meet all requirements for market-specific information, language variations, bar, matrix and alphanumeric codes and serialized/randomized data. Used independently, the UV Flexo printer can handle a larger batch production that has no variable data, while for small to micro batches the UV DOD printer has the capacity to manage an entire presentation fully digitally. The UV DOD printer can be used not only to add variable data on blank or pre-printed materials; it can also function as a two color printer. Inline and roll-to-roll version are available.
