With all of the systems designed for printing directly on IV Bag substrates, the material passes through the printer without going around rollers, preventing the formation of air bubbles; the material is not mechanically stressed and the problem of perforation is eliminated. The format-free systems print up to 2 colors directly onto the IV Bag.

For those interested in a UV DOD fully-digital “Just in Time” piezo printing technology system, we offer the Hapa 800 InkJet. All text and graphics are printed in a single pass in “flexographic” print quality, making the 800 WebJet ideal for micro to small batches. The 800 WebJet prints up to a maximum width of 470mm with resolutions of 360dpi, and is fully capable of realizing Track & Trace, serialization and anti-counterfeiting measures.
The best seller UV Flexo / UV DOD InkJet Hybrid combines two technologies into one system. The UV Flexo technology is highly cost-effective, prints in product-branding quality and uses UV ink in all PMS color shades. The UV DOD InkJet is suitable to meet all requirements for market-specific information, language variations, bar, matrix and alphanumeric codes and serialized/randomized data. Used independently, the UV Flexo printer can handle a larger batch production that has no variable data, while for small to micro batches the UV DOD printer has the capacity to manage an entire presentation fully digitally. The UV DOD printer can be used not only to add variable data on blank or pre-printed materials; it can also function as a two color printer. Inline and roll-to-roll version are available.
