The Hapa 500 series laser engraver incorporates a 50 or 200 Watt CO2 laser for medium or high speed engraving of the highest quality print mat material at up to 2400 dpi.
The blank RubberFlex or photopolymer material, with pre-drilled holes, is attached to the engraving drum using the same quick-fix pin location system that is used on all Hapa printers. Artwork and variable data are engraved in a single pass. Each print mat is automatically engraved with a "read only" identification number, which can be included on the bill of materials once the signed and released mat is used in production.
Laser engraver Hapa 511 is ideal for:
- The production of up to 150 print mats per year
- An introduction to the in-house production of print mats, or
- As a back-up for the Hapa 532
